The cinematography is really excellent

Yes, I'm aware hoe pretentious that sounds. It was a bit of an in joke from the evening.

But first. Finally signed up to all my modules (apart from one which she wants me to come back next week to sign up for). Had a fairly lazy/adminy afternoon before heading out to meet Nikki and Becky at Bastille. We met Mairead in Cafe des Anges (where the amazing hot chocolate is) and sat and chatted there for a while before heading to the Latin Quarter to find the steps that feature in Midnight in Paris. These are them. Though the angle usually shown in the film is different but the street is definitely right if you look from the steps. We waited for midnight to see if anyone would turn up to take us to Paris in the 20s. (Nikki was mainly just waiting for Tom Hiddleston to turn up I think) We were disappointed but it was fun chatting on the steps and Mairead even taught us to tap dance. We eventually headed home and caught the bus from the Arc de Triomphe that takes us home. (Still can't get over that.)
