An abstract Pansy for Ingeborg's Painterly Abstract Thursday
Set out for a walk at about 8.30, trying to avoid both the heat of the day and the hordes of people taking unaccustomed exercise. We succeeded in the former.
The meadows seem to be having had an epidemic of Gates, at every gap in a hedge or fence there is a new gate, either large or small or sometimes both. Whichever path you choose, every 100 yards or so there is a gate, which, having been handled by hundreds of people daily, will need to be opened.
Just at a time when one wants to avoid unnecessary contacts.
Good Deed, ep2. A fledgling, presumably the same one as yesterday, got stuck trying to leave the box, one of its claws was entangled with bits of nesting and caught in the entrance hole. I freed it and it fluttered off into the nearby bushes.
