A day out in the sun
Our car was serviced today so rather than moping around Stratford, which is largely still closed, we opted to take the motorhome to a picnic spot at the top of Fish Hill in the Cotswolds. Very close to Broadway Tower, but a couple of people we spoke to said it was (unsurprisingly) closed and often has many visitors. We opted for a walk through the woodland instead, which was good and I managed to fire off a few film frames too.
When we returned for lunch, the car park had pretty well filled up, but most people had chairs with them and had set themselves up for picnics in the shade. A group of Morgan drivers were there so I have blipped four of their cars.
A RAW file from my mobile (Moto G7) processed to improve the lighting and remove the overflowing dog waste bin which was not really adding anything to the composition :-) The RAW files from the mobile look much more de-saturated compared to those from my cameras - or perhaps the mobile jpgs are just more overcooked?
They left immediately before we did, a good nostalgic sound as they started up, but I had forgotten how much unburnt fuel goes straight into the atmosphere on these older carburettor fuelled engines!
Hope everyone else has had a good day.
Might get to see the grandchildren next week .... not that this will deflect any annoyance I feel towards our embarrassing excuse for leadership :-)
