Opening up
More and more places are getting ready for the new normal. Restrictions will be further loosened here on Monday. There was only one CV death in the last 24 hours in Spain, for the second day running, and daily new infections are in the 200-300 range. Feeling more confident about going out and about.
We just went for a short walk along the seafront this evening, and stopped for a drink at the Peñon before walking back. I have noted that someone has come up with a nifty business idea. Under the CV regulations, restaurants aren't allowed to hand out menus. When we were here with J last week, we noticed a guy placing stickers on tables. Turns out they are QR codes for the menu: scan them on your phone and you can view the menu contact-free. I reckon nearly every group of people will have at least one smartphone between them. What a great idea ... I've seen it at one other place already, and it is so easy for the restaurateur that I should think it will be taken up widely.
On a different tack, here is yet another way of being creative during lockdown.
