The Book Corner with No Books

I spent most of the day in my classroom, labelling plastic folders of individual sets of stationary, moving anything out which can’t be cleaned and convering up the things which can’t be moved. This includes all the books and toys and any stationery used by teachers which is now covered with sheets of thick, clear polythene . It looks like we’re preparing to murder someone.
I got out in the garden for a little while with Poppy this afternoon. Although she is missing school and her friends, she has really blossomed in lockdown and is a delight to have around; funny, chatty and entertaining. Long may it last.
