Pochard

Had a sneaky walk around an old gravel pit today. It is usually out of bounds but the signs have gone. It appeared I wasn't the only one that had taken advantage of no signs now as someone had cut a path through the undergrowth that surrounds the lake and there is a well hidden spot where someone has clearly been fishing. There were several different ducks on the lake but the best was a Pochard that swam quite close as it didn't see me until I popped up and snapped a quick photo
