Loft

The house visible from the kitchen window is having a loft extension. Work started while we were away as we've returned to a missing roof and during the day noisy builders with alarmingly loose trousers. At night they covered it with this huge orange tarpaulin which then flapped like an angry parachute and threatened to take the whole building skywards in the wind.
