Use the term silver lining when you want to emphasize the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface. The common expression "every cloud has a silver lining" that even the worst events or situations have some positive aspect.
The bird at the very top of the cloud must have thought so, he is in search of it :-))  
This sums up our day today, we can't remember the last time it rained for a whole day! the sun really tried then by mid afternoon it gave up altogether.
Another storm is on its way for the weekend, we collected Effie from our Daughters this morning their dog will stay with us while they are camping this long weekend, yes camping!! "good luck with that" we say..
