Quiet reflections

It was a beautiful morning and I took the dogs and my camera down to the rock pools!! The dogs love paddling around here - before they disturbed the tranquil scene, I took this photo which I thought conveyed a feeling of such peace.
Sadly this afternoon the wind came up, the fires are raging again and we are inhaling the smoke which is all around us. The forecast rain is just not happening.
