Large Skipper Butterfly

Very hot today.  I returned to Latterbarrow NR as it is so handy for me and with easy parking.  The fly orchid is now past its best but there are now many fine examples of the Greater Butterfly Orchid.  Lots of Small Pearl Bordered Fritillaries about and also Brimstone, Common Blue and Brown Argus.  This Large Skipper Butterfly was the first I had seen this year and the extra is a very fine yellow and black Longhorn Beetle (probably rutpela maculata)
