We took the tandem out for a long - 60 mile- ride to Riseley where there was a cafe which we had been told had goats. The cafe was there, but no goats today. Lovely ride though.

In the way we went through Molesworth. We stopped at the Peace Garden, a memorial of the peaceful protest by women in the 1980s against US cruise missiles. I remember watching the news and my mum always admired and willed the women on.
