What next?

I freely admit to having a chicken memory; i.e. it's "FOWL" - BUT -  I don't ever remember this set of events before.
On the left - the last flower from the last spike, still looking good. While-
On the right - The next spike just coming into flower. Meanwhile-
In the centre - There's a little of an even earlier (I think) spike looking like, not to be out-done, it wants in on nthe act too.
