Beauty in the eye....
John removed a straggly conifer today, it was past it’s sell by date and no use to us or wildlife. We hope the Acer will have more room to spread, the crab apple just to the front should also benefit and perhaps at some stage with some pruning of the Pieris all will thrive.
The laburnum Is looking good this year, the best we have seen it, I have fond memories of a pair of tall laburnum trees in the garden of my childhood, we could look out at the yellow chains from the bedroom window. I don’t think this will grow that tall.
