Lea Gardens

We didn't expect the rhododendron gardens to be open this year but it was with a one way system in situ.  Not many people there made for a pleasant stroll around. However there were also substantially less flowers than usual, something to do with the extraordinarily dry weather. We bumped into some friends there so there was much chatting and a socially distanced takeaway coffee at the end. Lovely afternoon
In extra I managed to grab the wren. She is darting around like mad at the moment and I think the young must be ready to fledge pretty soon. It seems such a long time since the nest was built.
