LOCK DOWN – DAY 67

We have never known it so hot in Scotland. 25C today. Seriously? 25C in Scotland. When does that ever happen?  We have been so lucky with the weather during lock down. And now that we're in phase 1, day 1, of the lock down restrictions being lifted Ann thought she'd better make the most of it. My human has had the nicest day that she has had in a long time.



This afternoon we went to see our friend Fiona so that the humans could drink Aperol Spritz and Prosecco and have a little picnic and a social distancing chat in Fiona's garden. It was lovely. And what made it even better; Fiona had a little bowl of water waiting for me, plus some treats, plus a squeaky snake. Just how nice was that.



We stayed for about three hours and then walked home through the park. It was still really hot so when we got home Ann had to take her bra off because it was sticking to her. Don't you just hate that. I know, I know. TMI. have a little lie down because alcohol mixed with extreme heat had made her very tired. In fact she was so tired that she didn't even object to me jumping up onto the bed and having a little snooze with her.
