22/05/17 - 3 years on

This is the only picture I took today - my baby girl sat happily reading her books.

I have added the bees frame as today marks 3 years since the Manchester bombing. Time has gone so fast, and so much has changed, but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I was on annual leave, but went into work the night after in response to the major incident.
The horrific attack, which took the lives of 22 people and injured hundreds more, could have caused division and fear, but Manchester came together and stood united.
The strength and resilience of the families affected is unbelievable.
On a personal note, the days and weeks following the attack were the toughest of my career, but never have I been prouder of our amazing critical care team, or of the young people and families we care for.

Three years on. We remember them.
