The Tightrope Walker
Our answering machine woke me at 6.15am this morning and theire was a message from a poor gentleman who was obviously struggling with life at the moment. It turned out he wasn't local and thought he'd rung his Doctor's surgery. I phoned him back and we had a good chat and I explained he may have more success with the Doctors in a few hours time! Hopefully he got sorted out in the end.
Having got up I thought I'd make the most of the extra hour (or so!) and have an early walk. I really enjoyed myself and saw some lovely birds, including this Pied Wagtail, and flowers on my travels and bumped into a few neighbours. So thank you JD for the early call!
After that I spent the day being behind on a variety of online meetings . How can it be you have more time and end up being late! Still I leant how to record a Zoom meeting add music and send the completed recording to someone who can upload it onto Facebook. My head hurt a bit afterwards! I also had a nice catch up with my tennnis friends via zoom and I have made arrangements for my first game next week - socially distant fo course which is going to be interesting and means we will have to play singles - not my favourite but it will be good to be on the court again.
