Me and my shadow

These clematis are putting on quite a display this year.

What I liked here was the flower’s shadow, cast on the fence behind.

Plus - these flowers are at their zenith, so best recording now.

In terms of how we have felt, an up and down week. The news has been deflating. I wanted to believe the government was doing the right thing. To incompetence is added the Dominic Cummings fiasco, Keeping one special advisor trumps everything else it seems, even if it means weaving a tissue of lies and fabrications . The consequences look pretty dire to me. I hope I am mistaken.
