Friday lunch

Glorious day weatherwise. Ad was meant to be off, but when I finished my homevisits he went off to do a job. So another day of half term where the boys pretty much amused themselves. Don't get me wrong. I am immensley grateful that they do this. That they are capable of doing this. But there are many better things they could have done this week. 

The birdhouse they built early on in lockdown is home to a family of bluetits. Taking the time to pause and watch the parents fly back with caterpillars in their mouths, and to see the open mouths of the baby birds through the entrance hole, is a definite upside of this time.
