Surprisingly the queue when the garden centre opened for the first time was not too long and some plants were unavailable but I can now finish planting my pots which contain plants from last year after overwintering successfully.  A highlight today was seeing a bus!  Over nine weeks of many long and varied walks I have seen six buses, three of which have been in the last three days.   Within my area it is possible to see a wide variety of plants including this Red horse chestnut in a local wood without catching a bus although my walks could be extended if I was able (and willing) to travel part of the way home by bus.
