Very tiny bees
We have some very tiny bees in our garden. I'm not sure about the exact species. The bee in the main blip is (perhaps) a Heriades truncorum / Löcherbiene. It's about 6-8 mm / 0,2-0,3 inch long. They live solitary. It sits on a bloom of a chive.
The bee in the extra sits on a wild geranuim. It is darker and less hairy and perhaps it is a small carpenter bee.
Has anybody an idea?
Thank you Biker Beas for hosting Flower Friday;-)
