Garlic

A few days ago I discovered a clove of garlic that had started to sprout in my refrigerator.  Just to see what it would do, I planted it in this little cup that my granddaughter had from her kindergarten class earlier in the year.  Nothing ever grew in the cup for her, but the garlic has taken off and grown about 3 inches in the past few days. I've never grown garlic before, but I will have to plant it in the garden and see what happens.
