Empty Swings

...with no daughter around to daydream on them. However, I've talked with her today and FaceTimed with W. and with son D. They're coming home on Tuesday. In the meantime, it's pretty nice keeping my own schedule for awhile. :)

Today was hot and humid, got up to 87 degrees (about 31), and flirted with thunderstorms. I was hoping for one but decided to water the garden when rain looked elusive. For the rest of the day - apart from zipping to the post office - I stayed happily indoors. And lo and behold it did rain tonight. My goal is to get up early Saturday morning, plant the next tranche of the willow hedge, and get some good writing done. Hope you all have the best weekend possible!
