Cardrona Valley

Another grey day, so after I asked on FB where was it sunny it was suggested that top of Cardrona valley was clear, so we headed off with the dog in tow, we got close to the Snow Farm in the Cardrona Valley we decided to go up it was beautiful up on top of the mountain nice warm sun on our backs, a lovely walk for 2 hours which proved to be a bit long for Bruce on the way down I took this, wanaka had another day under heavy clouds which the locals call an inversion layer.
We had a bite to and a pint in the Cardrona Hotel, and while we were waiting for Bruce was checking out the weather, it's going to be nice on the west coast lots of good deals at Fox Glacier we decided to drive up there for 2 night tomorrow so looking forward to getting out of town.
