Through a Nikon Lens
The title is a reference to a short lived series of books. Originally it was intended to produce more books, but in the end only two were produced, "Wildlife Through a Nikon Lens" by Chris Weston and "Macro Through a Nikon Lens" by Heather Angel.
This shot is taken of the inside of my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR lens. I had a little difficulty until I struck on the idea of lighting the inside with my flash head. You can see the name of the bulb in the flare reflections. I couldn't maintain acceptable focus across the depth of field I wanted even using a small aperture so risked a focus stack instead.
I stacked in Helicon Focus and then spent a fair amount of time removing dust particles.
