Looking up

I had another trip to the Western General today but no chance for a photo. The taxi did take the scenic route back to the Royal Infirmary though.

We went along Princes Street past the Balmoral Hotel, then over the bridge with views to Calton Hill of the National Monument and Nelson Monument, onwards in to Holyrood Park and round Duddingston Loch then finally past the ruins of Craigmillar Castle! Not bad, as working days go.

It just reminded me of how much Edinburgh has to offer, I think you may see some or all of these in future blips.

However todays shot was taken while waiting in the McArthur Glen shopping centre for my hubby. I was just wondering how much longer he was going to be when I looked up and saw the changing colours of the dome.
