Link Tower Lodge, Malvern

During World War II Lorna lived at Raglan House in Malvern with her parents Albert and Topsie. Their next door neighbours in Link Tower Lodge (blipped) were Lorna's Uncle Percy W (the husband of Lorna's deceased paternal Aunt Beatrice), Percy W's second wife Madge, and four of Uncle Percy W's seven children.

It was at the top of the tower that Lorna's step-cousin Dennis played Monopoly with his teenage sweetheart in the years before his sad wartime death.

(We had planned to photograph this house ourselves in early April and blip it during our planned visit to Malvern. Unfortunately our trip was a casualty of the coronavirus pandemic. We are grateful to be able to post this photograph today instead. It was kindly provided to us by a Malvern resident.)
