Runners

After finding the runner beans were up in the pot on the windowsill, I saw these ladies running towards me, robes a-flapping, as I crossed the Links. Couldn't take a photo of them face on, obvs, so waited until they'd passed me. Unfortunately they'd slowed to a walk by then. Possibly doing the Couch to 5k thing....

Later I picked up my order from Leith Market and even later we went across to North Leith Kirkyard for a mini-blipmeet at a hygienic distance. We'd already met up with J & A via Zoom , but it's really so much better to see folk in 3-D.

Tried to take a photo of one of the giant poppies at the allotment - the camera doesn't capture the eye-watering quality of the red, but the flower centre is just fantastic - see extra.
