LOVELY CLEMATIS

I purchased this clematis last year and it didn't do very well but this year it has climbed all over the wall and gives a lovely backdrop to the huge Cynara .

I am waiting for the buds to burst forth with their purple fuzzy heads.  I expected just a couple of gigantic flowers but it seems to be festooned with over 9.  I will blip it when it's in full bloom.

Another very hot day and I planted up my hanging baskets.  They won't look too good until they grow a bit.

And of course with this drought we are told not to water the gardens!!  I will leave you on that note as I have a Jasmin to pot on.  Sending hugs to you all. xxxx
