Peace Lily and Lettering

It is another bright sunny day, with just a light breeze.



Today’s Blipfoto is of the first flower to open on our Peace Lily. We certainly could benefit from Peace and Love, when we witness the riots throughout America and in other parts of the world.

In Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the first steps involved in turning the key in Lockdown are being taken. In Scotland we are more cautious than in England. We all wonder whose benefit is this being done for.

The next two or three weeks will certainly be revealing, and I hope that many will be more responsible than appears to be the case so far.

For us who are being Shielded there is very little difference and that is likely to remain for several weeks, if not months.

The information that I am receiving from our friends who work in the NHS does seem at odds from the noise being put about by BoJo.

Time will tell.

Some of my followers asked about the lettering being incised into our stone gate pillars which was the subject of yesterday’s Blipfoto.

After the stone mason had departed, the extra photo was taken this morning.

This is really the first cut. The second stage involves sharpening all of the edges and smoothing the surface of the indented background.

We are about to have another lunch outside in the garden.
