Wild garden

This is the 'before' shot of our back garden..... This weekend I will be mostly hacking away undergrowth, weeds, ivy....

The land behind our house falls away very sharply, and - like our neighbours' - the garden has been terraced into a series of levels. However, there are around 40 steps down to the lowest level from our top terrace, so any gardening process that involves repeatedly carrying stuff up and down is gruelling.
