Shield Bug

Such a cute little bug.
Today is the first time I've seen one fly.
I was in the garden with my daughter, as she cut down brambles & pulled up weeds I cut them smaller to put into the Brown Bin.
I dug up a dead Gunnera & thought, "Whoops" shouldn't have tried that; it came up with ease, but it was the bending down & picking it up bit.
I survived & have rested since, so on the mend hopefully.
