Just a couple of days behind the stinking irises that I blipped on Wednesday, these blue ones have started to appear beside them, an obvious contender for Flower Friday, with thanks to the host, BikerBear.

Lozarhythm Of The Day:
PJ Harvey - 50 ft Queenie (Solo Version) (recorded 18 October 1993 and broadcast live on the Evening Session, Radio One)
If memory serves, Polly Harvey turned up for an impromptu chat and session in the radio studio where Steve Lamacq and Jo Whiley were presenting the Evening Session, and informally performed a couple of songs, Howlin' Wolf's Wang Dang Doodle and this, I think my favourite version of Fifty Foot Queenie, a song she still performs live now. I made a cassette tape of the show, which I still have, but was pleased to hear it on 6 Music on this day and to then find it on You Tube.
