Pretty as a Picture
Went out a little late again. To be honest I was undecided. Did we really want to see the crazy world outside?
We took our new hot day route, round the back, along Madeira Road, thru’ Horseshoe Common, and then back via St Peter’s Churchyard, and the Russell Cotes. Apart from when we traversed the main road (where the trippers, and cars head down to the beach), we hardly passed anyone.
Comfortable in the shade, with a light breeze. But there are quite a few up and down steepish hills here. All good exercise.
My neighbour said the beach was busier rhan yesterday. Certainly today there were cars parked all along the verges of the no parking side.
Tomorrow’s another good ‘un Will parents be sending their, Year 1 and 6, kids back to school???
Covid cases are plateauing, after the steady declines. London shows a small but definite increase. And that’s people infected before this mad weekend took off. Italian news today showed images* of our mobbed beaches and parks, no social distancing (*including rather unsavoury characters which we do so well). Heaven knows what they make of those scenes :( :( :(
