Monumental thanks
We cycled over to the Little Shelford and walked up the hill to see the obelisk. It always amuses me that it's so hard to actually see from the village, or indeed almost anywhere.
Rather pleasing chalk graffiti. And Matthew had lots of fun scaling the concrete plinth. Cycled back over the hill to Newton and then via the bridlepath off the Whittlesford road, for a nice little adventure. Then spent the rest of the day playing Super Mario.
Matthew is back to school at home tomorrow, but we'll have a new routine for June while Mike is on furlough. I'll be in charge on Mondays so Mike can have the day off, he'll be in charge the rest of the week, so I can get more work done on three days, and then have my own day off on Fridays. We'll see how it goes!
