Today dawns and I'm another year older but I doubt any wiser !!.   It was such a thrill to see my latest nocturnal visitor when I downloaded the memory card earlier today.   There had been evidence of a badger in the garden nine years ago but nothing since until the early hours of this morning.
It was work this morning for a few hours to prepare for the payroll in the morning and then I called to see Steven and family (socially distancing of course, except a cuddle for Charlie).   They gave me two beautiful planters, one from Steven and his partner, the other from Maddie and Alfie and two lovely hanging baskets which I've hung from the workshop.   All the more for blipping.
This evening I've put together the ingredients to make some Elderflower Cordial, it's now infusing for 24 hours and hopefully will be ready to strain and bottle tomorrow evening.    I hadn't read the ingredients properly and bought 1 kilo of sugar, on re-reading the recipe it needs 2 kilos, good thing I had a spare bag in the cupboard.   It does seem rather a lot to me, but as they say the proof will be in the drinking, it's a good thing it's to be diluted!!.
