The social distancing skills...
... of a colony of penguins at the height of the mating season.
We shall know in the coming weeks how much of that SARS-CoV-2 is still doing the rounds.
A new rise in cases of Covid-19 can be expected. At the same time, I can totally understand why the teenagers especially have chosen to believe that it is gone. It's invisible. It only affects invisible geriatrics in invisible retirement homes. The young are invincible. And they crave the close contact of their mates. Their whole life evolves the close contact with the rest of their teenage tribe.
Sadly they don't all live happily on Teenage Island, where the WiFi constantly delivers 1,000,000 Mbps and there is a ratio of one Starbucks per 25 inhabitants.
No such fairy tale island, with no curfew, no parents, alcopops on tap and nail bars aplenty. Instead they all go back to their respective moany naggy old ones. And share with them whatever they've exchanged on the beach...
