City Walk #2

G's evening lesson got cancelled today, so we had to go out and make the most of the gift of time!

We set out to an Italian restaurant in Wafi, but it was closed, so decided on the Last Exit, but ended up in City Walk! I'm glad we stayed in town. It was quiet and a few places were open. Our intention is to go back to our favourite restaurants and support them, but we ended up eating in a place we've not been to before. Urth Cafe (see extra) is your typical newer cafe - healthy food, vegan options etc.

We both tried their three-egg omelette, and we both concluded we like the omelettes at The Square more. The portion was so big, we brought dessert home, but not before enjoying a walk around the development in peace and quiet. My second extra is of the fairy lights tied around palm trunks. I like G looking up and taking it all in. My blip is of a bit of graffiti that G spotted. I've not seen it before; it would be great to go back and get a shot in the day time.

An interesting Lavylites meeting in the morning and the long-awaited email from the Bank arrived with the outcome I was hoping for. :)
