Waxing Gibbous Moon (whatever that means!)

Last night I sat in the conservatory to see if I could spot the Space Station and the Space X rocket pass over.  Well I sat outside at first, but not keen on the bats swooping about!  No luck, although I had seen the Space Station last week.  Played about with some moon shots - none any good.  Swapped cameras this evening, and this was the best shot - tried handheld, but can’t seem to hold this particular camera still - a bit heavier than my others.  Tried a few shots with the mini tripod, and this was the best one.  I was quite surprised at the details from a compact camera, even with a 40 x zoom!
