Whit Monday

The four of us went for a walk in the forest today.
Near Emmen, in one of the oldest forests of the Netherlands. An primeval forest even. It was beautiful. No people at all. (everbody was on the terraces that re-openend at noon I guess)
We spent a few hours in the woods and saw some ancient dolmens as well (nrs D38, D39 and D40 to be exact).
For proper photography the light was way to harsh, but I liked the fresh green colors so much I just couldn't resist.

Afterwards we bought a quick lunch in the small supermarket in Odoorn and we a picnic nearby, somewhere between Odoorn and Exloo. No terrace for us today, yet.

Drenthe is beautiful!
