Patty's Plum

The poppy is mine, the ceanothus, creeping through the fence, belongs to my neighbour.

This is a lovely poppy when it first opens ..... it's a real plum colour but only for a day or two and then it loses its vibrancy and turns quite murky looking so if I don't blip it today tomorrow will be too late!

I'm so looking forward to some rain later on in the week and I can forget about watering the garden .... not a job I really enjoy!
