New Digs

This is our son's new townhouse condo that he is renting. We took over most of his things today. It's a three story townhouse with steep stairs and a few trips up the stairs and my knees were telling me that they weren't happy. But we are very happy with David's new place. The kitchen is gorgeous, the floors are really nice, the colors are nice, and there is plenty of room, with a downstairs room, a bathroom on the living room level, and two good sized bedrooms upstairs, each with their own private bath. That black thing is a nice gas fireplace. And they have a decent sized balcony too. Also the laundry is upstairs, with a beautiful newer washer and dryer. He is going to be having a roommate, a long time friend, and this gal has the actual furniture...which will be delivered tomorrow. So, this will be a new experience for him, having a lady roommate. With their different work schedules, I think they will get along okay and not end up in each other's face too much, but she said she's not cooking for him...so he's going to have to figure that out. We are all confident this will work out okay. The only way they could afford this place is to share the rent, so it just all sort of worked out. We met her today as she stopped by, and she's is very nice.

Anyway.....a gorgeous day today. It will be like this for a few days. Ridgefield!! But not tomorrow....and Auntie day and then showing her David's condo...if either one of us can get up those stairs...
