Nile Grove front door

A door that I pass frequently, looking rather fine just now. I took this on my usual round-the-block walk, this time I actually went as far as the former post office on Morningside Road to post a birthday card to JC. And I also went the other way round from usual! One thing that was notable about this evening's jaunt was that I heard - and saw - swifts for the first time this year. Several of them were doing their formation flying, screeching as they went. Summer has started for me! And the weather was glorious yet again.
