Drumyat from the Braid Hills

My partner is working, so another solo Saturday. Cloudy but no rain. I do bike maintenance, but a ride will be out of a question as another winter storm is heading in.

In the afternoon, I walk over the Braids to meet my partner for afternoon coffee. Looking west from the Braids, the dark shape of Drumyat, on the right is clearly visible. Unfortunately, only the lower snow covered slopes of the mountains can be seen. On the left hand side is the wee hill with the Wallace Monument. The tops obscured by low cloud from the storm moving in for tomorrow.

I meet my partner and we go for coffee and cake, then get some shopping before heading home.
