Picnics & Paddles

J was back to school today but C had an extra day off so had a lie in whilst I went out for a run before it got too hot. I dragged J away from the desk at lunch time for a picnic break up at Northcliffe, then while he was back studying, C & I had a lovely paddle along the canal, enjoying the sunshine and creating much talk about paddleboarding to those cycling and walking along the tow path. There has been a big rise in the sport in the last couple of years but they are still rarely seen along our stretch of the canal.
