Another human

Went up to the allotment early in order to water before the sun was blazing and also to avoid the neighbours (the ones with the perpetually winge-ing toddlers). Got back just in time to meet up with Shandonner (out in the car park, all very socially responsible) so that he could have a birl on my Brompton to see if it might be of any interest, since he's started cycling again, using the city hire bikes. We pumped up the tyres and off he went - very smoothly it turned out. So much so that he cycled home on it - must be about four miles, faster than the no 35 bus I think.

Since I haven't used it since the incident I was delighted to think that someone else might find it useful.

And also such a treat to see another human, as it was on Saturday with J & A. What is it about f2f contact? D thinks it's the 3-D quality. I feel it's something to do with actual eye contact. But we're all mammals - guess it could just be the sensing of subliminal pheremones..... discuss!
