Blue Sky Bank Holiday......!!

It must easily have been the nicest Whit Weekend in a very long time with the weather getting sunnier and warmer every day....
This is the first blossoms flowering on one of my Cordylines ...
I don’t know if anyone agrees but I think they have the most peculiar smell...not particularly unpleasant but yet sometimes takes your breath away...
They are also very resilient as back in the very bad winter of 2010/11 the three we have froze solid and just keeled over and died or so we thought....until we heard one of our gardening experts giving the advice to do nothing with them and they would eventually grow back....and the Did now they’re huge...never too sure whether I totally like them or not ....!!!
They certainly give height and structure...!!!
Can you believe it’s June 1st...???
