A needed rest

I've been wearing myself out worrying about everything that is going on and feeling helpless and hopeless.  I really needed a rest.  Fortunately, Minkelina was eager to have one too, so here she is fast asleep on my lap while I enjoy petting her and feeling the breeze from outside.  The cleaners were here again today, so our home is fresh and clean, unlike the world outside.  Perhaps by tomorrow I'll feel more energetic and able to think about how I can support the movement to protect black lives.
