A walk in the woods

Monday
The morning started really quite cool - only in the upper 50s, but soon warmed up into the low 70s for the afternoon - quite delightful! Unfortunately, it’s the last day, before temperatures start to rise again, and rain returns to the forecast for Wednesday. It was just Roger and I taking our daily exercise today, as Philip has been gone the last two days, and Laura was out walking with a friend. We went to Rowe Woods today, where we actually managed to have a non-muddy walk for once! However there wasn’t much wildlife to be seen, and birds were heard but not seen, so my photos are of the trees and ferns and stream crossings, which were also easier today due to lower water levels in the streams!
