Globe flowers

Spent a while studying all the maps and guides for the area surrounding Beatenberg. There is so much to explore around here, lots of little windy roads sneaking up to tiny mountain villages surrounded by mountains. We decided to drive to Saxeten, then go and explore. What an amazing place, huge waterfalls, and a circle of mountains to stop anyone going any further.
Nesslerenschopf and Schwalmere Surround the upper alpin farms, and the cows had just been moved to the flower filled meadows. Globe flowers were out in abundance at this height. As we gained height we were surrounded by gentians, or enzians, the Banks at the side of the path blurring that amazing violet blue.
